Patrick Mitchell

 

 

Patrick is in his final year studying Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee. He draws and paints subject matter that has personal significance – places he runs, friends and family – and thinks of drawing and painting as a means of acting on an experience.

He is interested in translating what he sees into the language of paint or line rather than making a mimetic copy, and exploring the possibilities of this language in relation to his changing perception.
