Annie-Rose Fiddian-Green

Born in England, Annie-Rose completed a BA Fine Art degree at City and Guilds of London Art School in 2018.

Annie-Rose’s practice deals largely with the human body, with a strong focus on movement, breath and heat. Led by the dynamism of gestural mark-making, with an emphasis on motion and light, her work is an intuitive journey that strives to capture a sense of ‘aliveness’ - be that from humans, trees or abstract spaces.

The artist’s work, from large-scale expressive drawings to colourful layered paintings, offer an energetic response to the living world around her, communicating an emergence out of physical boundaries. Her influences include Jenny Saville, Antony Gormley and the Abstract Expressionists.
