Andrew Carr

Andrew was born in 1982 to a farming family in rural Cumbria. He studied Fine Art at Kent Institute of Art & Design in Canterbury and the University of Chester in the early 2000s. He now lives and works in Stockport.

 

Andrew makes small, quiet oil paintings about distance, nostalgia, landscape, belonging, loneliness, time, home... places you thought you would always remember, but somehow forgot.
